Ordering Information

Office hours - 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, eastern time, Monday thru Friday. If we are in the office on the weekend we will take your calls. There will be exceptions to these hours so please call again if we are not in; we may be at shows and we normally leave a recording on the phone.

If you operate a yarn store and would like information on our line, please e-mail us.

Product orders

Fingerlakes products are made available through numerous yarn outlet across the country. Please e-mail us or call for a location near you. If you are centrally isolated you may place an order directly with the by calling 315-497-1542.

You may also e-mail orders but please note that we do not offer secure transmissions of credit card information.

Be sure to include your telephone number and an e-mail number, if you have one with any correspondences.

Method of payment

We accept cash, personal checks, bank checks, Visa and MasterCard (minimum charge order - $20). For non-charged orders over $150 we recommend that you send certified funds to avoid delays in shipping your order.

Shipping and handling

We normally ship via UPS. Normal ground service is standard, however you may request faster UPS options or other means at a higher price. The following charges cover normal UPS shipping. Add the charge to your order.

For international orders we ship via mail at the prevailing postal rate. Specify surface parcel post or air parcel post.

New York State Sales tax

For customers having orders shipped to points within New York state, please add the state and your local sales tax. Indicate the name of your county. The tax is calculated on the total of goods and shipping. Your order will be delayed if the tax is not calculated.

Returns

All returns must be authorized in advance by Fingerlakes. Return of merchandise for reasons other than incorrect shipment on our part are subject to a 15% restocking charge. We reserve the right to remedy any problem by correcting, in whole or part, the purchase. There are no returns after 30 days.
